Scientific Games makes strategic decision and implements GuideTI in its U.S. plant
Scientific Games, a leader in the lottery ticket industry, examined the success of Guide Ti’s implementation in its Canadian facility and closely analyzed Cogep’s offer before choosing its (CMMS/EAM) maintenance software. Immediately after Guide Ti was implemented, a barcode reader system enabled the plant to quickly take control of its inventories. Through Guide Ti’s detailed management, the company reported a significant decline in the number of disruptions of its replacement parts inventory. The substantial advantages that have come forth from this improvement include increased availability of machinery. The motivation of the maintenance crew and their commitment to the new asset management system made the project an almost instant success. Despite the fact the company is located some distance from Cogep’s offices and although there was some initial apprehension, the maintenance team from Scientific Games Texas is extremely satisfied with the follow-up and support they receive and consider themselves in good hands.
