What You’ll Do
- Ensure the complete accounting cycle, including monthly entries and bank reconciliations
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of accounting tools (migration from QuickBooks to Maximo)
- Support the transformation of manual processes to digital workflows
- Produce and analyze financial reports
- Make recommendations to management
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity
- Work closely with the management team on strategic projects
What You Bring
- CPA designation (asset)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a SME or firm
- Experience in implementing or migrating accounting systems (ERP)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluency with digital accounting tools
- Experience in CMMS or SaaS environment (an asset)
- Experience in digital transformation of accounting processes (an asset)
- Ability to work with a CFO on a part-time basis (autonomy required)
- Bilingualism French/English spoken and written
